London City Island

Where London’s River Lea flows into the Thames, eleven new residential buildings are being constructed on a peninsula under a redevelopment plan known as the Leamouth Peninsula Project. Although these new buildingsvary in design and structure, they comply with the city planners’ requirements by combining to form a single architectural unit along with the open spaces that were integrated into the plans.

One common feature of the buildings’ designs is that the conspicuously large window areas allow daylight to flood in, as well as offering magnificent views of London.
