2. NEW!: HUECK VOLATO M+ – BROAD CREATIVE SCOPE FOR PLANNERS AND ARCHITECTS

Having been tried and tested extensively, the HUECK Volato M lifting-sliding system has now been refined by HUECK’s engineers. The highly thermally insulated HUECK Volato M+ lifting-sliding door, with a profile depth of just 65 mm at the sash frame, has a more slender look in the centre and is ideal for use in prominent positions.

From now on, a new generation of fittings allows sash weights of up to 440 kg in maximum formats of 3,000 mm x 3,200 mm, and the sashes accept glass thicknesses of 22 to 48 mm. At the same time, a new gear dampener makes operation considerably easier, especially for elements with a high sash weight.

In comparison with the predecessor system, HUECK Volato M+ not only offers an increased rebate clearance of 15 mm, a plastic interlocking profile and improved U values but can also accommodate greater structural tolerances. In addition, a retrofittable aluminium profile can be nailed on from the outside and prevents twisting of the mullion. The existing schemes – A, MA, D and C – will be joined by the schemes MC, F, MG and MK.

Further improvements include the crimpable sashes, the uniform surrounding housing on all frames for connection to the structure, an optimum external glazing bead for monorails, sashes with additional screw channels, and a new Q-Lon gasket in the interlocking area, which replaces the brush seal.

Documentation in the new layout and a beta version of the LogiKal configuration are now available.
