1. Lambda WS/DS 075 and GEN 4.0 Catalogue Update
In recent years, we have steadily refined and expanded the amazing diversity of the HUECK Lambda WS/DS 075 modular window and door system. In this update, we are therefore bringing the catalogues up to speed with the latest developments.
We have compiled the most important innovations in the enclosed brochure. As well as the addition of new products, such as the WS 075 ventilation flap, concealed door hinges, GEN 4.0 heavy-duty hinge sides for window sashes weighing up to 300 kg, and new self-locking locks, the catalogues have also been restructured. In future, windows and doors will be shown separately, with the window topics divided into three volumes:
- order catalogue for profiles and accessories
- ordering and production information for fittings
- production catalogue.
The addition of set-specific illustrated parts lists for sashes and frame section positions has paved the way for a much clearer design of the GEN 4.0 fitting documentation. Other innovations include fittings solutions for the accessible window door, sets for French window elements in an RC3 version, tilting span limiters for flat sash formats or sets for tilting elements with concealed hinges for bottom-hung windows and versions with the handle on top/at the side. We have also added instructions for nondestructive dismantling and reference dimensions for centre-fixing. By separating out special cases, we have been able to reduce the size of the ordering lists considerably.
The new documents will be published online in calendar week 36, during which we will also begin shipping the printed catalogues. At that point, it will be possible to run calculations in relation to the above changes, and the corresponding items will become available. Please note the following two exceptions: we expect that the supplementary accessible threshold with a height of just 15 mm shown in the catalogue will be available in October 2018 and that the new HD barrel hinges for sash weights of up to 300 kg will be available from December this year. Please contact your sales representative if you have urgent requirements in the intervening period.
If you downloaded the previous versions of the Lambda WS/DS 075 catalogues from our online documentation, please delete them and then save the current catalogues again, as the modified catalogue structure means an automatic update is not possible.
The catalogue update is accompanied by a switch-over of our sash profiles from the Lambda WS 075 IS series to the version with an aluminium outer shell. We made this optimisation in order to further improve the process reliability of the series, especially in relation to surface treatment.
